Despite two attempts for play to go ahead, last Sunday's decider between the Butchers and University at North Dalton Park was postponed due to wet weather.
Cricket Illawarra considered numerous options, including declaring the teams as joint winners, before opting to reschedule the game for Sunday, February 16, again at North Dalton.
The Butchers will again go into the contest as favourites after going through the T20 season undefeated.
"I suppose we're happy it was rescheduled, but it was interesting that they wanted to call it joint winners when we did finish higher than them during the regular season," Stewart said. "We did feel like we were a good chance of winning the final anyway, but hopefully we can next Sunday."
"Our [T20] bowling and fielding has been exceptional- we've got five or six really good bowling options. We've really restricted teams, we don't give away too many runs given there's been some high scores in the Twenty20 this season.
"But Uni are a good team, we're fairly familiar with them. They've got some very good players and their batting line-up is strong and deep. It's pretty evenly matched across the board, but they rely heavily on Mitch [Hearn] and Andrew Page - they're the big two wickets."
On Friday, Cricket Illawarra also advised that all local cricket scheduled for this weekend had been cancelled due to rain. This includes the senior and junior competitions as well as the Women's Twenty20 League.
