The goal of cancelling such events is to slow the spread of the disease across the community.
A number of regular Kiama events have already been cancelled, rescheduled, or suspended.
ANZAC Day ceremonies across the nation and overseas have been called off.
The Kiama Council Living Well Fiesta has been rescheduled for October 22.
Gerringong Music Club annual general meeting on Sunday 29 March at Gerringong Soldiers Memorial Hall is cancelled. Organisers say it it is likely that the concert on Sunday,17 May with Bright Young Stars will also be cancelled.
Friends of Kiama Library and Kiama and District Historical Society combined event on Saturday April 4 with Ray Edmondson from the Sound and Archive Australia is also cancelled.
Kiama and District Historical Society committee has cancelled all future events until further notice beginning with the Sue Lark event on Saturday 28 March.
"We are also closing The Pilots Cottage on Blowhole point which usually opens from Friday to Monday each week until further notice," a spokesperson said.
