Hundreds of people were facing their futures in the line when Centrelink when they were on the receiving end of something quite wonderful.
Out of nowhere they received a free coffee.
Others were acted free flowers and some even hot cross buns.
Mezza Bar owner Marc Talbot said that a regular customer was to thank for the coffees.
"One of our regular customers shouted everyone in line a coffee," he said.
Alongside the charitable act, Bakers Delight were also on hand to deliver hot cross buns to people waiting in line as well as a local florist handing out flowers.
Local bakery owner Jo Harrington said it was the least she and her staff at Bakers Delight could do.
"It's just something we are doing at random moments," she said.
"Some people are going through so much - it's the least we can do do to help brighten someone's day.
"Everyday while the lines are long we will hand out individually packed hot cross buns."
"We aren't doing it for publicity, we just want to help."
Mezza Bar in Corbett Plaza is currently operating as take away only and have a limited menu available.
Bakers Delight are continuing as normal with heightened health and safety measures in place.
