All Fly Corporate flights out of Shellharbour Airport were grounded in March.
This was due to the federal government's strict domestic travel restrictions and other states closing their borders.
Fly Corporate has now entered into a grant agreement with the federal government to provide a minimum weekly schedule from May 4 to the regional ports it serviced prior to the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The grant is provided under the COVID-19 Regional Airline Network Support (RANS) program announced in late March.
The program was established to ensure secure and affordable access for passengers who need to travel, and to support the movement of essential freight such as critical medicine and personal protective equipment.
Prior to COVID-19, Shellharbour offered six return services per week to Brisbane; under the RANS Schedule operating from May 4, this will be reduced to two.
Prior to the pandemic, Shellharbour had 10 return services per week to Melbourne; this has now been reduced to two.
Flights are now open for booking via their website.
"We are very pleased regional communities can retain these vital air links," Fly Corporate CEO Andrew Major said.
"This program provides critical connectivity at a key time for regional Australia and positions regional airlines to rebuild their scheduled services to pre- pandemic levels upon resolution of the current crisis.
"We have undertaken a thorough review of our procedures to ensure that appropriate travel health measures are in place to ensure a safe, pleasant and comfortable journey for our passengers."
