Festival organisers of the Red Hot Summer Tour canned the remaining concert dates for this year, including Kiama, due to mounting uncertainty with the COVID-19 pandemic.

October dates also scheduled for the Barossa Valley in South Australia, and Ballarat in Victoria have also been cancelled - with the tour to resume again in the summer of 2022.
The sold out tour, which marks the 10th anniversary of the regional festival was to be headlined by Hunters & Collectors with James Reyne, The Living End, The Angels, Baby Animals, Killing Heidi and Boom Crash Opera also set to perform.
Around 5000 music-lovers were expected to turn out to Kiama Showgrounds for the original date back in March, though strong winds forced its postponement until October 17.
"Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions surrounding mass gatherings, we have made the heartbreaking decision not to proceed with the upcoming October dates," Promoter Duane McDonald said.
"All artists have agreed to play the three shows in the summer of 2022, which we are very thankful for. Unfortunately, 2021 was not an option due to artist availabilities."
All Ticketmaster customers will be contacted in coming days with an option to keep their ticket or receive a full refund. For tickets purchased from other outlets, ticket-holders are asked to contact their point of purchase.
