Kim Suckley won the event last year with the winner to represent Illawarra at the State Championships later this year.
The women's game has been hard hit by COVID-19 but claiming the District Singles is a huge achievement for any bowler.
Last year's NSW Singles was won by Genevieve Delves with the event also featuring Australian reps Sarah Boddington and Kelsey Cottrell.
The Raymond Terrace-based Delves beat Park Beach's Amanda Monck in the final which was part of nine days of championships in Open Fours, Senior Fours, Mixed Pairs, Open and Senior Pairs and Triples.
The 2020 NSW Women's State Championships are on October 6-14 at South Tamworth BC.
A recent COVID-19 scare around the Bowral region means the proposed Regional Playoffs in Pairs and Seniors Pairs featuring the Illawarra and Southern Highlands champions has been rescheduled from this Thursday (JULY 30) to August 20 at Bowral.
Wiseman Park are the 2020 Illawarra champions in both Pairs events with Christine Speer and Robin Humphries claiming the Open Pairs and Carol Owen-Julea Morgan taking out the Seniors title.
