Wollongong basketball coach Jaydon Beveridge has been banned from speaking to any underage person involved in the sport while he fights child grooming allegations.

The 21-year-old, who is the son of former Illawarra Hawks coach Rob Beveridge, is barred from contacting or being with anyone under the age of 18 that is "employed at, or affiliated with" any basketball club in NSW under the conditions of his strict bail.
Police also ordered Beveridge not to go within 100 metres of Beaton Park or the Snakepit, the home of Basketball Illawarra.
He must also report to police once a week, live at his home address in West Wollongong and not try to contact any witnesses or alleged victims.
Beveridge is facing four charges stemming from allegations he used the social media app Snapchat to groom three teenage girls for sex between mid-2017 and the beginning of 2020.
He was arrested in July, a month after detectives raided his home and seized a number of electronic devices.
Beveridge was subsequently charged with three counts of child grooming and one count of inciting an act of indecency and released on police bail at the time.
The case was mentioned for the first time in Wollongong Local Court on Tuesday but Beveridge chose not to attend, instead entering pleas of not guilty to all charges through his lawyer.
The Mercury understands that police will allege Beveridge contacted the alleged victims on Snapchat and, after a time, requested nude pictures from them.
He allegedly sent sexually explicit images of himself to one out of the three teens, who were aged 14, 15 and 16 at the time.
It will further be alleged Beveridge supplied one of the teens with alcohol, dropping it off at her house in January this year after she transferred money into his bank account.
Beveridge was the head coach of the boys' under 14 Illawarra rep squad, and the development manager at Basketball Illawarra.
He has since resigned from the organisation.
Beveridge remains on bail, with his case due back before the court on October 21.
