The school held its own Yellow Up event on Monday.
It follows the successful Yellowing Up Gerringong event held on the weekend.
The event was organised by a community led network called Gezza Cares. Its objective is to connect and educate people of all ages in the community, especially teenagers and young adults.
Kiama Council also lit up in yellow over the weekend to show its support.
Gezza Cares spokeswoman Sarah Allen was "overwhelmed" by the response of the community.
"There is lots more to achieve but this is a great start," she said.
"Seeing the community connecting and actively looking out for each other is fantastic."
