The second of 13 bridges in the Albion Park Rail bypass is now open to traffic. The 56-metre-long Croome Road bridge is situated just to the east of the sporting complex and will take local traffic over the bypass.

"It will allow safe and direct access between Albion Park Rail and the Croome Regional Sporting Complex, which is a real focal point for the area," Kiama MP Gareth Ward said.
The bridge also features a shared pathway for pedestrians and cyclists, and artwork on the safety screens that was inspired by a bowling cricketer.
It is made up of 12 Super T concrete girders, each weighing 52 tonnes.
The first bridge - which will form the southbound off ramp into Albion Park - was opened in May this year.
