The Department of Fair Trading has issued the warning about Mr Onkun, who also uses the name Mick Onkun.

According to Fair Trading, he trades under multiple business names including Europe Cement Rendering, Europe Cement Rendering and Concrete, Illawarra Concreting and Constructions, Illawarra Concreting and Excavations and variations of those names.
"Mr Onkun does not hold a licence under the Home Building Act authorising him to contract for or perform residential building work," a Fair Trading spokesperson said.
The complaints about Mr Onkun received by the department from the public related to various kinds of work including concreting, driveways, pathways, retaining walls, kitchen and bathroom renovations, fencing, rendering, tiling, and carpentry.
If anyone has had dealings with Mr Onkun, the Fair Trading department advises lodging a complaint with them via their website.
