"Universities have made 34,701 offers in this round, which is down on the 38,000 offers made at the same time last year," Universities Admission Centre marketing and engagement general manager Kim Paino said.
"That's not surprising given the large increase in early offers this year, and it's still great news for students who either hadn't yet received an offer or were waiting on an offer to a more preferred course."
