A 77-year-old man will front court after he allegedly sexually touched four young girls while swimming at a Kiama pool on two separate occasions.

The first incident was on October 3, two girls - aged 11 and 9 - were swimming when it is alleged a man swam close to them before touching them on the leg area.
The girls left the pool and reported the incident to staff and police.
The second occasion occurred five days later where police will allege the same man approached two other girls - aged 11 and 10 - swimming at the same pool, and allegedly touched them underwater on their back and legs.
This incident was also reported to staff and police.
Following an investigation by detectives from Lake Illawarra Police District, a 77-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday at Lake Illawarra Police Station.
He was charged with six counts of sexual touch person without consent and was granted conditional bail to appear at Kiama Local Court on Tuesday February 1, 2021.
