A UOW international student will defend himself against allegations he left the scene of a serious road crash at Cringila. A lawyer for Pakistani national Ahmer Nasir entered pleas of not guilty to charges stemming from the September 19 collision. A 24-year-old man was critically injured as he was struck by a car on Lake Avenue. Wollongong police arrested Nasir at his West Wollongong sharehouse the next day. The matter returns to court for hearing July 28.
