Australian Ben Dunk has proved a matchwinner for Lahore Qalandars, scoring an unbeaten half-century to guide them to a Pakistan Super League victory over defending champions Karachi Kings.

Chasing down a target of 9-186, wicketkeeper Dunk played the anchor role in two crucial partnerships, eventually cracking an unbeaten 57 to spearhead the six-wicket win with four balls remaining on Sunday and take Lahore to the top of the PSL standings.
Fakhar Zaman scored a brilliant 83 off 54 balls, sharing a 119-run steadying stand with 33-year-old left-hander Dunk after Lahore had slipped to 0-2 in the first over and then also lost key batsman Mohammad Hafeez for 15 inside the batting powerplay.
David Wiese's late charge, hammering 31 with three sixes and three fours off nine balls alongside Dunk, then finished the job.
The tall South African clubbed two successive sixes off unfortunate Australian fast bowler Dan Christian to finish off the game.
Earlier Shaheen Afridi returned figures of 3-27, with his ferocious bowling reaching speeds of 94 mph (around 150 kph) which helped to restrict Karachi despite half centuries by Sharjeel Khan (64) and Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi (57).
It was the 11th straight successful chase in this season's PSL with no team yet to defend the total after being put into bat by the opposition.
