At lunch on day three, the Bulls were 4-278 with Matthew Renshaw (3) and Jimmy Peirson (0) the unbeaten batsmen at North Dalton Park. The visitors trail the Blues by 103 runs in their first innings.
Test star Labuschagne (112) was again the dominant force, cracking 11 fours in his 212-ball stay. He was eventually out edging to Kurtis Patterson at second slip off the bowling of Trent Copeland (1-40).
Australian off spinner Nathan Lyon (3-76) then struck on the stroke of lunch, Usman Khawaja (64) slashing straight to Mitchell Starc at backward point.

The result of the match will help shape which teams play in the Shield final but with Western Australia conceding 514 runs against Tasmania in their clash, it seems most likely that both Queensland and NSW will go through to the decider.
If WA don't win, a draw will be enough to see the Bulls host the final, while the Blues need an outright result to go to the top and claim a Shield final home ground advantage.
