Uni stayed in touch with a try to Charles Curry before half-time, but Shoalies responded in style to run out 50-5 winners.
And while Shoalhaven may have put 120 points on the board in their three games so far, coach Paul Connor is adamant the credit to their unbeaten start goes to their forward pack.
"They've led the way," he said.
"We haven't quite got it right yet, but we've felt we've been in control and we'll only improve.
"By all indications Shamrocks are the team to beat this season, so it will be a great test."
Lock Ross Dunlop was among the standouts, while Mark Brandon finished with a personal haul of 25 points.
Elsewhere, Avondale edged out Kiama 24-17, Campbelltown held off Tech-Tahs 32-27, Shamrocks outlasted Bowral 28-16 and Vikings thrashed Camden 43-13.
