The Cup's round of 32 draw took place last week, with the two NSW NPL clubs set to face off to launch the Wolves' 2021 Cup campaign. A date for the match hasn't been announced and the fixture remains under a cloud as the lockdown continues.
"The way things are going, you can't imagine there will be football any time soon," Wilkshire said.
"The other issue with the FFA Cup is, okay our first round of 32 is in NSW, but how do you open it up with the borders and everything? You don't know how that's going to be in the next month.
"We've had no indication of what's going to happen. I think it's all going off the health officer's advice and sport is in the back of people's mind for things going forward. But we obviously want to get back on the pitch as soon as possible."
