A record 390 new locally-acquired COVID-19 cases have been record in NSW to 8pm last night, as well as two deaths.

At least 60 of the new cases were infectious in the community, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said.
Ms Berejiklian said Dubbo in the state's Central West was becoming a "big challenge".
There were 10 cases in the Western NSW local health district, two cases in Walgett and eight in Dubbo. All new cases appear to be linked to the case in Walgett confirmed yesterday, according to NSW Health.
There were no new cases in Tamworth, Northern Rivers or Armidale, however the NSW Hunter region recorded five new cases, making a total of 82 in the district since August 5.
A man in his late 90s has died of COVID-19 in Newcastle. He died at RFBI Hawkins Masonic Retirement Village in Edgeworth. He acquired his infection recently as part of the outbreak at the facility linked to a COVID positive staff member.
A woman in her 40s died at home in Southwest Sydney, she was not vaccinated and was a close contact of another confirmed case.
This brings the number of COVID-related deaths to 38 during the current outbreak, and the number of lives lost in NSW to 95 since the beginning of the pandemic.
140 of the locally-acquired cases were linked to a known case or cluster, 118 were household contacts and 22 were close contacts and the source of infection for 250 cases is under investigation.
Ninety-eight cases were in isolation throughout their infectious period and 43 were in isolation for part of their infectious period. Fifty-eight cases were infectious in the community, and the isolation status of 191 remains under investigation.

There have been 6874 locally acquired cases reported since June 16, 2021, when the first case in this recent outbreak was reported.
There are currently 391 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital, with 63 people in intensive care, 30 of whom require ventilation.
There were 127,988 COVID-19 tests reported to 8pm last night, compared with the previous day's total of 151,830.
NSW Health administered 28,198 COVID-19 vaccines in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, including 7649 at the vaccination centre at Sydney Olympic Park.
The total number of vaccines administered in NSW is now 4,801,310 with 1,786,962 doses administered by NSW Health to 8pm last night and 3,014,348 administered by the GP network and other providers to 11.59pm on Wednesday, 11 August 2021.
Of the 390 locally acquired cases reported to 8pm last night:
- 138 are from Western Sydney local health district,
- 123 are from South Western Sydney LHD,
- 47 are from Sydney LHD,
- 32 are from Nepean Blue Mountains LHD,
- 30 are from South Eastern Sydney LHD,
- seven are from Northern Sydney LHD,
- six are from Western NSW LHD,
- five are from Hunter New England LHD,
- two are from Central Coast LHD.
