And right outside is a bus stop, making it very appealing for those want a few beers and then need a safe way to get home.
A development application for the brewery has been lodged with Wollongong City Council.
If it is approved it will become the seventh brewery in the city - leaving beer lovers really spoilt for choice.
In addition to brewing beer on-site, it is also planned to have a bar and allow for takeaway sales.
Opening hours will be no greater than 10am to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays and earlier closing on other times.
No live music entertainment is proposed at the brewery.
The brewing equipment will take up more than half the indoor space with the remainder allocated to a bar, toilets and a customer area with a maximum capacity of 50 people.
No food will be prepared onsite but it is understood food trucks could be an option - earlier this year the food truck from Papi's at Thirroul had parked on the site.
Three parking spaces will be available, with the view that as it is a licenced premises the drink-driving laws will limit people driving to the venue.
The brewing waste in the form of used grain and hops will be collected and used on a farm and feed or compost.
"We currently have an agreement with a local farmer from Tongarra, who is happy to collect our brewing waste during the week (and some Saturdays)," the application stated.
