A young boy has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a second-storey window in Keiraville on Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics were called to a Robsons Road address just after 4pm.
The boy was treated for facial injuries before he was flown to the Sydney Children's Hospital in a stable condition.
"The rescue helicopter was activated immediately and our crews met the medical team with the young boy at Kooloobong Oval," Inspector Matthew Sterling said.
"We took every precaution as a fall from this height can be life-threatening."
Two road crews and a special operations team paramedic attended the scene, while the helicopter was dispatched with a critical care doctor and critical care paramedic on board.

It is understood the child, whose exact age is unknown, suffered a serious head injury.
A doctor is assessing the boy at the scene.
