The next era of Bugatti hypercars is just around the corner now as the company has confirmed it will reveal the successor to the quad-turbo W16-powered Chiron in 2024.

The French hypercar firm announced a hybridised Chiron successor is currently two years into development and will launch in 2026.
The new Bugatti hypercar will be the last vehicle from the company to been designed by Achim Anscheidt who is retiring from his role as Bugatti director of design. He will be passing over the torch to his long-standing deputy, Frank Heyl.
Mr Anscheidt designed the likes of the Veyron Super Sport, Veryon Grand Sport Vitesse, Chiron, Bolide, Divo, Mistral, and the La Voiture Noire. He will remain as a senior advisor to Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac.
Although it's now confirmed the Bugatti Chiron successor will receive some form of electrification, it's unclear what engine it will be paired to.
Bugatti fans will reportedly have to wait until after 2030 for the company to launch its first all-electric vehicle.
The brand ceased being a wholly owned entity of the Volkswagen Group in November 2021, with ownership passed to a joint venture company called Bugatti Rimac.
Rimac Group has a 55 per cent stake in the joint venture, with Porsche owning the other 45 per cent.
For now, Bugatti and Rimac will continue to operate separately, retaining their existing production facilities and distribution channels.
Although the brands will be kept separate, future vehicles will share technology.
