TALKING POINT: Is Bruno Fornaroli now a must-pick for Graham Arnold's Asian Cup squad? The 36-year-old striker continued his hot streak against Western Sydney, bagging four goals in Sunday's 4-3 win. Fornaroli has 11 goals in seven games and is showing that his age isn't impacting his game.

STAT ATTACK: Macarthur are on the longest undefeated streak in the club's short ALM history after Saturday's 2-0 win over Sydney. Mile Sterjovski's men have four wins and three draws to start the season and sit at the top of the table.

BEAT THAT: Central Coast Mariners import Marco Tulio scored a peach from the edge of the box in their thrashing of Western. Tulio took just one touch to steady himself before curling the ball into the top corner and beyond the reach of Western No. 1 Tom Heward-Belle.

UNDER PRESSURE: Adelaide United are in all sorts of trouble at the back and Sunday's 2-0 loss to Brisbane means they still haven't kept a clean sheet since round two. While they were tipped to challenge for the title this year, Carl Veart's men have hit an early-season purple patch with just one win in their past five games.

UP NEXT: Western host Brisbane in the Aloisi derby on Friday as Adelaide aim to ditch their poor run of form away to Western Sydney later that evening. On Saturday, Perth Glory head to Newcastle and Sydney FC travel to Melbourne Victory. Melbourne City and Central Coast play off in a grand final rematch on Sunday, while Macarthur finish off the round by hosting Wellington on Monday.
