A wide variety of sports identities will headline next month's Shellharbour Sharks Mid-Year Sportsman Luncheon.

Among the list of guest speakers are Dragons coach Paul McGregor, Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan, former Parramatta star Brett Kenny and former Hockeyroos captain Nikki Hudson.

"Our sportsman luncheons are always a popular occasion - this year's event is set to be a cracker," Sharks president Peter Blaine said.

"We've secured a fantastic bunch of guests and speakers so it'll be a great afternoon of entertainment."

Illawarra radio announcer Marty Haynes will compere the July 11 luncheon at Warilla Bowling Club.

The Footy Show comedian Mick Meredith is scheduled to appear.

There will be raffles, silent auctions and memorabilia displays.

"It really is going to be a jam-packed afternoon. We're advising people to book quickly so they don't miss out," Blaine said.
