The farm has been operating since 2012 and is run by Green Connect Illawarra in partnership with the school. It sells produce to local restaurants and employs students and resettled refugees.
The new $30,000 facility was funded by BlueScopeWIN Community Partners Program, and Green Connect manager Jess Moore said it would help the farm become economically self-sufficient.
"At the moment we run the project through grant funding but the long-term aim is to fund the site entirely through sales," she said.
"The new facility means we can wash, pack and store produce on-site, and is a big leg-up for the Green Connect project."
It will mean more training and jobs, particularly for young people and resettled refugees, she said.
