Member for Kiama Gareth Ward today said the work was part of the $329 million upgrade..
‘‘Access to Fern Street will be through this intersection until the southbound lanes are completed as part of the highway upgrade, which is expected to be early next year,’’ Mr Ward said.
‘‘To prepare for the traffic changes, there will be no access to or from the Princes Highway at Fern Street between 10am today and 6am on Friday, August 8.
‘‘Motorists can access Gerringong at Belinda Street and traffic control and signs will be in place to direct motorists.
‘‘Further traffic changes will be required in the coming months to progress the highway upgrade.
