The daughter of Elusive Quality was 16th in the order of entry on Tuesday and would need two rivals to drop off to make the final field on Wednesday.
Given the torrential rain around Sydney this week, the mare's chances should be given a boost as trainers opt to avoid a potential heavy track.
Parker, however, believes Such A Princess will welcome the wet conditions.
"She definitely appreciates the sting out of the track," he said.
"The main concern with her is that she usually takes a run or two to tighten right up. She goes good on the wet and this has been the aim going into the carnival to see if we can get some black type about her.
"There are a couple of nice Group 3 mares races around, so hopefully she is up to that grade."
If Such A Princess can make the field on Saturday, Parker hopes to continue her preparation with a run in the Tibbie Stakes at Newcastle on September 18.
The five-year-old made her last start in Group 3 company in the Darley Crown (1300m) at Hawkesbury in May but finished at the rear before heading to the paddock.
"She spelled well and has come back terrific in a good frame of mind," Parker said.
"She still hasn't broke through in the coat yet but the wet track will definitely help her."
Last Saturday, Parker welcomed the return of 2014 Australian Oaks runner Cuban Star at Kembla Grange.
The mare worked home well for third over the mile.
"Her run was good. She did her best work late and that is what you like to see from her over the mile," he said.
