Hitting the pavement at Darling Harbour's Palm Grove, this weekend will mark Rebecca's third year being a "Claus for a Cause".
"My preparation, because it's a Santa fun run, has been eating fruit cake and drinking glasses of milk because that's what Santa does," Mrs Barrow said.
All donations from the event go towards Variety, a national not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering Australian children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
"It's a really good charity to be supporting and it's also just fun," she said.
"It really is just about running, strolling, skipping, pushing, whatever, your way around the city and the foreshore.
"There's just the right feel about it. Everybody's just so happy to be there, everybody's in a good mood. It's just a magnificent sight, if nothing else."
The event attracts Santas of all ages and fitness levels, with entrants encouraged to bring their dogs along too.
Sunday's run is Mrs Barrow's 17th event for the year - she has also participated in the Mother's Day Classic, Run Wollongong, the Melbourne Marathon, Tough Mudder, Bulli Burn and City to Surf to name a few.
Donations can be made through the Variety Santa fun run website.
