Business owner Adam Murphy sponsored and hosted the networking club gathering.
The event came almost a month to the day after the Crown Street venue was given the green light to serve alcohol by the state's liquor authority. Mr Murphy used the networking event to reveal how the upper level, where the function was held, would look when finished in a few days.
"We just have a few umbrellas to install, a fold-out awning and a tree to go in the big communal table planter box," he said.
"There are also a number of tables and chairs to be delivered in the next couple of weeks. I thought this was a good opportunity for everyone to have a little sneak preview so you can see what Humber is going to be like."
Mr Murphy said a chandelier would be installed in the middle level, which has a lounge area and bar. "There is a whole lot of brass work that needs to be finished really," he said.
"There is a brass-topped circular bar in the middle of the room and a brass chandelier around the top that has a couple of thousand brass tubes in it and all LED lighting in the middle of it. And there will be high tables all the way around the room. It should be finished in two to three weeks."
Mr Murphy said the ground level cafe was always full so Humber would also be serving food on the rooftop.
"From Wednesday through to Sunday we will have breakfasts and lunches up there," he said.
"It will be exactly the same menu as on the ground."
The middle level will have its own night-time tapas style menu.
