The first-placed Roller Hawks will play the second-placed Red Dust Heelers on Friday night, with the winner advancing directly to Sunday's grand final.
Should the Roller Hawks lose they will on Saturday play the winner of the third versus fourth match between the Kilsyth Cobras and the Queensland Spinning Bullets for the remaining grand final spot.
Roller Hawks coach Jim Williams is confident that if the team play to their potential they will be hard to stop.
"Our chances are great and we've given ourselves the double chance finishing minor premiers," Williams said.
"As we have won the series against the two top contenders, Kilsyth and Red Dust, we have a style of game that should be able to contain their point scoring and free us up to play our own game."
"We have a wider spread of scorers so if we play well as a team, they can't close us all down."
Though Williams places an emphasis on a team game, critical to the Roller Hawks' chances will be the performance of club MVP Brett Stibners and Most Improved Michael Auprince.
"Sticky [Stibners] has been our team leader.
"He is able to read the game and work out what needs to be
done to get a win."
"Michael is probably our hardest worker, often being told to take a rest day.
"He has been given a role to use his height as well as speed to make the opposition have to match him. This forces them to use up their resources through fouls or fitness."
"His aim is getting 20 points and 10 rebounds each game.
The Roller Hawks finished the regular season with a 13-2 win/loss record.
