“None of the products I make are "perfect" but that’s the charm of them,” he said.
Inspiration came from watching his parents run their own transport business, while his great grandma was also crafty.
“When I was really little my great grandmother used to keep the boxes she’d get her tea in for me, and I used to make things out of those,” he said.
Forty per cent of stall spaces are allocated to makers like Mr Lukey who are just starting out and aren't ready to invest in a huge market setup of stock and tables, marquees and so on.
Alongside new makers like the teenager, stallholders include local favourites Elise Cameron Smith with her handmade timber boats, vintage lamps, handmade jewellery by silversmiths JIKA and Smithing, pottery by My Very Own Eye Goggles plus over 60 more artisans all from the local region.
