Lindsay Dimovski has located CCTV vision showing a truck colliding with her car on Urunga Street on Wednesday, about 9am.
She is circulating a picture of the truck, in the hope it will lead her to the culpable driver and compensation.
Mrs Dimovski was working at Wollongong Private Hospital when an announcement alerted her to problem with her car.
“The front end was off,” she told the Mercury.
“I was kind of mesmerised by it and just thought, ‘what the hell?’.
“It was not a little ding – I initially thought it must have been a truck. Whoever has hit it knew they hit it, and left no note.”
The matter has been reported to Wollongong Police; Ms Dimovski said she was hoping to find the driver before she would be required to pay an insurance excess.
“If you know who's it is, please let me know or ask them to contact me directly to resolve,” she wrote, in a post to social media.
