At the June dinner deputy president Graham Lancaster said the Leadership Illawarra Program was presently looking for 16 participants. It is a joint venture of RDA Illawarra, the Sydney Business School and TIC.
“Many of you will already have received a letter inviting you to nominate a suitable member of staff for the next cohort,” Mr Lancaster said.
“The program is based around four themes. Challenges for the Illawarra, governance and ethics, leadership, and community engagement/social responsibility. The program takes place over a two-year period. Participation..is open to all, however I am pleased to announce on behalf of the board that we are offering a scholarship to a TIC member or a nominated member of their staff. Applications will close on Friday July 29.”
RDA Illawarra’s Karen Bain is the contact point for member organisations.
Meanwhile applications open after the August 3 meeting for an MBA Scholarship awarded by the Sydney Business School to a member of TIC or one of their staff.
Applicants must already be accepted into the relevant MBA program for commencement in 2017.
