Zunic was one-under the card after the first round, but struggled throughout his second round to fall to three-over.
His round of 74 saw him fall just one shot above the cut line for the weekend in a tie-for-58th.
Tighe fared better on day two.
After heading into the clubhouse with a one-over 71 in the opening round, he followed it up with an even par 70.
Things could have been even better for the talented right-hander, who had an up and down back nine after starting at the 10th.
He had four birdies, a bogey and a double bogey through his first nine before firing a second bogey over his final nine holes.
Lucas Herbert and amateur Brett Coletta lead the tournament at four-under at the halfway point.
