They know their beloved husband and father Catur will lose his battle with a rare appendix cancer, and estimates give him half a year.
So the popular Kembla Heights musician’s family are turning to the community to help raise money for a minibus trip around Australia together, to enjoy the time they have left.
Sarah is concerned their young children may lose memories of their dad as the years go by – so they are hoping if they fill his last months with fun and adventure, that would help them stick in the boys’ memory forever.
“We’re doing everything we can just to live every moment and make the most of it for our boys,” she said.

Sarah said the online response to their “love wins” campaign had been moving. “It started out as sharing our story but it’s actually become a movement in its own right now,” she said.
“People are practising acts of love in our honour in what they call a love exchange. It’s growing really organically which is nice. He’s got a big beautiful energy, that’s why he’s got a big following around the world – everyone loves him.”
Sarah didn’t know it at the time but her world as she knew it changed when she met Catur in a jungle styled reggae bar in the heart of Bali nightlife.
On February 7, 2005 the pair married in Catur's home town, a tiny village in Banyuwangi, Java in a ‘’simple and perfect traditional ceremony’’.
On the same day in 2015 Sarah and Catur ‘’confirmed our love’’ and renewed their vows as they celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary in the ‘’most amazingly beautiful ceremony’’ surrounded by family and loved ones.
They have organised a fundraising reggae festival, called Rasta Gong, at the Kembla Heights Community Hall on Friday, December 16.
Last year's Rasta Gong raised $16,000 for the family. They are hoping this year's event will be similarly successful. A kids' mini-festival will also be held simultaneously, with circus acts and kids' activities on hand. Visit https://www.gofundme.com/th9ua48 to help.
