Not-for-profit networking group, Enterprising Women of Kiama (EWOK) will open their doors on March 8 for their launch, and to celebrate International Women's Day in conjunction with Kiama council.
“Our focus is on dynamic and entrepreneurial businesswomen who would like to share their business ideas," Michelle Springett, EWOK Counsel said.
“We are looking for inspiring women who wish to interact with similar minded women to achieve a business support network.
“With this year's IWD theme - ‘Be Bold for Change’, as a counsel we believe it’s time we gave back to our community and supported the amazing talent we have here on the South Coast.”
Sharlene Russell, EWOK Counsel said that “we have many women in our community who have been bold for change”.
“We hope to be able to highlight them through our group.
“We are inviting businesswomen to come along at 6.30pm on March 8 to meet the EWOK Counsel and find out how the group can enrich their business outlook.
“We hope to see you on the balcony.”
Ms Springett will open the doors for EWOKs on Wednesday, March 8 at 6.30pm at Kiama Rugby Club, Kiama Showground.
Cost is $44 per person, which includes champagne and canapés.
