Doubles to Matt Carroll and Wayde Aitken helped the Sharks to easily put away their rivals at Ron Costello Oval. City had done the damage by half time after taking in a 26-4 lead into the sheds but they didn’t take their foot off the pedal in the second stanza as they prevailed by 32 points.
In other matches, Milton-Ulladulla Bulldogs beat Berry-Shoalhaven Heads Magpies 38-24 and Jamberoo Superoos defeated Nowra-Bomaderry Jets 30-18.
Warilla-Lake South Gorillas comfortably took care of Port Kembla Blacks in a 24-4 win while Kiama Knights took down Stingrays of Shellharbour 32-10.
Jamberoo and Gerringong Lions, who had a bye this week, remain the only two unbeaten squads in the competition through the opening four rounds.
