All three share a common goal to improve peoples and watching on from the sidelines wagging his tail with excitement and appreciation will be Guide Dog in training “Yarren”.
Ms Georgaros is walking the route in August to encourage her workmate who is running his 10th City2Surf. She decided to enter when she heard Mr Raymond was doing it to support the Guide Dogs.
Battery World stores are presently helping train two guide dogs. With Guide Dogs Australia celebrating its 60th Jubilee the Battery World franchisees decided to adopt the charity because of its ability to train dogs to provide care for children and adults. Donations can be made directly in Guide Dog collection boxes in Battery World stores or by sponsoring Battery World’s NSW and ACT team at city2surf2017.everydayhero.com.
“I’ll take the morning off to cheer as Andrew and Gina cross the finish line,” Mr Bubb said.
“I am no runner but I think this is a great way to help a charity that’s stood the test of time. Today dogs can also be trained to work with children with autism or the elderly.”
