The property is located at 650 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Coledale.
Agent Trever Molenaar from Molenaar and McNeice described it as a “once in a lifetime” opportunity.
“It’s about an acre-and-a-half,” he said.
“It’s been totally renovated, and is directly opposite Coledale Beach.
“To get an acre-and-a-half opposite the beach is special.
“Usually you can get 500sqm, 600sqm; the one that we sold at 189A Lawrence Hargrave Drive (Thirroul) went for $2.6 million and that was a 600sqm block.”
Featuring a four-bedroom home and an escarpment backdrop, there is also the potential to subdivide into further home site blocks, subject to council approval.
“You could perhaps build another house for your family, or investment properties – you could do a duplex down there,” Mr Molenaar said.
“It gives a lot of varied options.”
Other features include a double carport with stables and separate paddocks, as well as wrap around balconies and under-house storage.
The home is for sale via Expressions of Interest.
Mr Molenaar said it had only just come on the market, but there had been strong early interest.
“I’ve already had interest from locals – there are plenty of local people that are looking at doing something,” he told the Mercury.
“I’ve got interest from developers, and also had an inquiry from California, as well as Sydney.”
