The Tesla Tiny House is powered by renewable energy via a 2kW solar system and Powerwall.
Tesla Tiny House product specialists will be on hand to explain how your home can generate clean energy from the sun using solar panels, store it in Powerwall to use through the day and night, and how it can all be monitored and controlled by the Tesla App.
The Tesla Tiny House is being towed around the country by a Tesla Model X and is built from locally sourced, chemical-free, sustainable timber. It's powered by a 2kW, 6-panel system that's backed up by Powerwall.
“With high power prices there is huge amount of interest from the local community by people wanting to take control of their energy costs and to ensure reliable power to their homes, the Tesla Tiny House is an opportunity for the community to learn how to generate, use and store power,” business owner and event organiser, Matt Simms said.
Tesla Tiny House is being hosted at Silos Estate – a recognised sustainability leader in the region via regional and national awards. Owner Rajarshi Ray, will be on-hand to share measures that you can adopt to deliver a reduced environmental and energy footprint.
This is a free event for the whole community to have a one-on-one educational experience on how to integrate Powerwall and solar to seamlessly power an entire home 24/7, allowing home owners to gain control and understanding of their power use.
The house will be open to the public at Silos Estate, Jaspers Brush on Tuesday, November 21 from 4pm – 7pm and will also be opened to school and community groups earlier in the day.
