Found on the southern side of Corrimal on the Princes Highway near Towradgi Road, the centre opened on August 14. The formal opening was recently done by Hon Sharon Bird and enthusiastically attended by staff and well wishes from the local community.

This state-of-the-art Corrimal site has 3T wide bore MRI, dual energy CT, ultrasound, x-ray, cone beam CT and interventional procedures and incorporating their Women’s Imaging Suite as well as research projects.
“The latest 3T MRI is now available in private practice at the new site in Corrimal,” director and radiologist Dr Alok Gupta said.
“The centre is research compatible too with a University of Wollongong partnership.
“We are focusing on women’s and men’s health by providing comprehensive women’s imaging and prostate MRI respectively.”
The centre has DIAS accreditation plus qualified and accredited radiologists with specialised sub specialities.
A non-corporate radiology practice servicing the Illawarra region since 2011, Wollongong Diagnostics have created a radiology practice that provides a friendly service at affordable rates with easy accessibility to their clients which encompasses patients as well as referrers.
“The locally owned and operated radiology practice has its main emphasis on serving our local community and providing state of the art facilities and quality of care to our patients,” Dr Gupta added.
“Wollongong Diagnostics have reporting radiologists on site at each location should referrers wish to discuss their patient’s results, as we have immediate access to each patient’s study via our picture archiving and communication system.”
