They have been elected by their peers and teachers and are seen to have the positive attributes that make a good leader; these may include:
- A strong school spirit
- Supportive, caring and fair attitude
- Integrity and commitment
- Good organisational skills
- Respectful conduct towards the whole school community
- A good role model
These student leaders have a very important job within the school and will act as mentors for younger students, advocate for student issues and represent their school at functions and events.
We want to celebrate the school leaders at local schools throughout the Illawarra, so together with participating schools.
