Endeavour Energy crews are working to restore electricity to a handful of customers in the northern Illawarra after a power pole snapped at Helensburgh on Tuesday morning.

The damage happened on Walker Street, with about 800 properties without power at 9am.
An Endeavour Energy spokeswoman said crews were working to fix the damaged pole.
The spokeswoman said about 20 customers remained without power as of 10.30am.
The Endeavour Energy website states the handful of customers affected are on Walker Street, Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Baines Place and Temple Road.
Power is expected to be restored by 5pm, the website said.
