Huge congratulations are in order for local primary school teacher Chloe Tighe who on the June long weekend contested the prestigious professional race event known as the Leonora Golden Mile held in Western Australia.
Chloe won the event against the local very talented Commonwealth games and Olympic rep Madeleine Heiner pocketing $6000 and a gold bar in the process.
Chloe has amazed many with her courageous return to athletics after having to leave the sport as a promising junior due to injury. We all wish Chloe the very best in her move to the UAE at the end of this year.
