A council spokeswoman said there had been only one complaint made to the council over the weekend – a call made to Councillor Kellie Marsh.
This was for an off-road vehicle on the grassed area near the gravel loader at Bass Point. But when rangers arrived it had gone.
“The area was attended to by two regulation officers on duty,” the council spokeswoman said.
“No vehicle was sighted.”
Potential campers were moved on by rangers from Boollwarroo Parade.
“No offences were sighted for camping or 4WD over the long weekend,” the spokeswoman said.
