The Real Estate Business Top 100 Agents 2018 rankings list has been revealed.
The magazine’s list ranks real estate sales agents throughout Australia according to a range of 2017 calendar year metrics, including the number of sales, total sales volume and average sales price.
Co-principal of Belle Property Illawarra Jeremy Hodder was ranked at No.56, while Ray White Shellharbour Oak Flats Group principal Amanda Bonnici was named at No.88.
Mr Hodder is up 12 positions from last year’s rankings, while this is Ms Bonnici’s debut on the list.
According to the list, Mr Hodder sold 115 residential properties for a total value of $111,399,800, with an average sale price of $968,694.
Ms Bonnici sold 108 properties with a total value of $88,556,620, an average sale price of $818,453.
Mr Hodder was “ecstatic” to make the top 100, saying REB was “the benchmark of what we all work towards”.
“That means it’s good to recognised,” he said.
“I’ve worked hard to make a list such as this one, and to go up 12 spots and be recognised among so many great agents around the country is an honour.”
Ms Bonnici also said it was an honour to be included.
“It’s a good feeling when hard work pays off and you get recognised,” she said.
The Top 100 Agents list is now in its seventh year.
“The REB Top 100 Agents 2018 is the industry benchmark for success in real estate sales, and an accolade all agents aspire to,” Tim Neary, editor of REB said.
“In this year’s ranking the calibre of entrants was exceptional, with the total sales volume across the Top 100 in excess of $15.5 billion.”
The data collected for the rankings is verified by a senior member of each sales agent’s network, or their accountant where they are independent operators.
He is in the running to take out a coveted honour at the Real Estate Business Awards 2018.
After winning the same category last year, Mr Hodder has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Sales Agent of the Year - Regional category.
Now in its sixth year, the awards seek to recognise the achievements of the industry’s leading agents, networks, innovators, lenders and property managers.
The winners will be announced on July 19.
