I know some may think that this article is directed solely at alcohol.
That is correct to some extent, but also many other liquid forms of calories that cause a huge energy surplus in an individual.
The liquid calories I am referring to here include flavoured milks, energy drinks, alcohol and certain yoghurts.
These liquids essentially allow our bodies to consume a huge amount of calories in a very short period of time.
They require no chewing, and are quickly consumed.
Once off is fine, but done repeatedly day in day out, may place you in an energy surplus.
As a result you will slowly put on weight unless you start moving more.
Opt for more nutritious foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, nuts and seeds to ensure you fill your body up with better alternatives.
