The M1 Princes Motorway has fully reopened in Gwynneville after an overheight truck hit and damaged the overpass at University Avenue on Tuesday.

Crews worked throughout the night to repair the overpass which has now been deemed safe.
All lanes reopened early on Wednesday.
The truck, which was carrying mining/construction equipment, struck the bridge about 12.15pm.
It was travelling in the left lane when it hit the overpass.
The equipment and trailer became wedged between the bridge and the road.
According to police, the force of the impact resulted in the trailer and equipment being embedded into the concrete of the overpass.
No one was injured.
