Event founder and organiser Joshua Tree said Mr Hahn is an Illawarra prostate cancer survivor.
Mr Tree said he was first diagnosed with prostate cancer five years ago.
“Since then Don has shared his experience and become involved in men’s health campaigns throughout the Shoalhaven and Illawarra to raise awareness of men's health issues including prostate cancer and mental health,” he said.
“Don has recently been appointed the Prostate Foundation of Australia ambassador for the Illawarra.
“Early in the new year, Don plans to launch an Affiliated Prostate Cancer Support Group for survivors and their partners in the Illawarra. A local health community health initiative that the It’s a Blokes Lunch event has offered to support.”
This Friday at the Novotel is the second annual It's a Blokes Lunch.
The event is designed to raise awareness of men's health issues and vital funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, Beyond Blue as well health initiatives for men in the Illawarra.
