Emergency services were called to Lawrence Hargrave Drive, near Stanwell Avenue, about 1.30pm on Sunday.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said a man in his 30s suffered serious injuries after coming off his bike.
“He’s had a seizure, he’s got a head injury,” the spokesman said.
The injured rider was taken by helicopter to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The spokesman said a second cyclist – a 55-year-old woman – was taken by road ambulance to Wollongong Hospital after suffering minor abrasions to her wrist, arms and legs.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said the riders were involved in a collision.
“It looks like he [the man] suffered a medical episode,” she said.
