On Sunday December 30, Charlotte and Ella Scarratt gained their Surf Rescue Certificate, Georgia and Tegan Craddock gained their Surf Rescue Certificate and Bronze Medallion, while Meg and Lara Jones also both gained their Bronze Medallion.
Club secretary Kaye Norris said it was quite unusual though was a “special moment”.
“I have in my 25 years of Surf Lifesaving had a set of siblings here and there, but never three in the same squad,” she said.
“[We are] very excited with the new recruits and can see a bright future with the club relying on our youth to boost our volunteer ranks.”
Daniel Grieve and Marisa Jasprizza also passed their assessments on the day (they are non-related to the girls).
